Yeah, I suppose in your case the best solution would be to just to build a dedicated Defender/Stargate control panel.

The benefit (I believe) behind using the restrictors is so you can have a universal or generic control panel layout and still maintain playability with the various types of games and their special joystick requirements.

Yes, there are many games. I just used Galaga as an example as that is probably the best known game with a horizontal joystick. If I were to have a single 2-way restrictor, it would be the horizontal one.


: (that said.... I don't think I will purchase a set until I do my cocktail table.)
