Get a normal plunger from a real pin.

Now I would think there would be a way to determine the motion of the actuall plunger movement itself acurately.

After mounting into wood, I was thinking that you could surround the shaft of the plunger with mouse balls, vacuum cleaner wheels ect.., 3 would be sufficient.

Hack a mouse to be the bottom mouseball, same idea as hacking a mouse for a trackball.

If everything could be contained to a good fit from the shaft and the balls, so skipping doesn't happen, I think this just may work.

The ONLY thing is determining how to make VP recognize the movement of a mouse./accuracy and speed settings.

Any mouse progs that will let this work?

Am I going at it the wrong way?

Thanks for any input.
