I have been working on this, but it's slow going.... The forcing of the res for rd is the start of it, but now the fact that im forced to add nt support(for xp/2000 of course) makes things doubly hard. Luckily mame still supports passing frequency and res information to it though.... so I should eventually get mame to work that way.... the others I'm not so sure of. Xp gives you a honking error message if you try to do anything under 640X480 without shutting down the gui first, so adding support for this kind of thing for vp, impact, modeler and the others will be tricky.

Just out of curiosity, why are you using aos? If it's an arcade monitor that's holding you back, a better solution might be to get a video card that'll support arcade refresh rates. (they have em) Aos dosen't like dos and newer emus won't run on dos, so that's the best solution i can give you.

: Does anyone know of a frontend for Windows that can output video like ArcadeOS? DOS windows are proving problematic for my system (running too slow, USB controllers not recognised properly) so any info would be great, even if it's just something in development. Any help gratefully received!!
