I live in the UK and bought one of these joysticks from Suzo about a month ago. I haven't fitted it to a control panel yet.

I think Wico have been taken over by Suzo as their online catalogue is identical to the printed catalogue Suzo sent me.

My observations are as follows:

Physically very large both above and below the control panel.

Not as aesthetically pleasing as the Happ's Super joystick.

Nice feel but perhaps a little stiff. However it might feel less stiff once it is fitted to a panel.

A lot of combat games in the UK use this joystick. It is probably best for that type of game.

Despite now being sold by Wico it is not a traditional joystick.

Andy Warne (seller of the I-Pac) told me he thinks it's the best joystick there is. However if it's the ability to switch from 4 to 8 way operation that interests you then IMHO there is a better alternative now available. Please check the I-Pac or Industrias-Lorenzo website's for more details.

: Does anyone have experience with WICO's Universal STC Joystick? I was
: thinking about Happs Super 8's or these. I like the idea of change between
: 2-4-8 way with the WICOs. Just wanted some other opinions from people that
: may have tried them.

: Thanks,

: Brian
