SB16 PCI in Dos!

Anyone happen to know how to get this card to work in DOS? The motherboard for my arcade PC has no ISA slots, so I was stuck buying a PCI soundcard. However, if I load the SBINIT file, MAME will always lockup at the game info screen. If its not loaded, it works fine but there is no sound. Has anyone gotten these cards to work properly in DOS? If not, anyone know of a PCI card that has dependable DOS support?
