: If the monitor came from a jamma cabinet, you will almost certainly need to plug the monitor into an isolation transformer (the original power setup inside the cab). Only the most recent monitors (last couple years) have power isolation built into the chasis. These monitors usually have a 3 prong PC type power connector. If you see just two wires coming out for power, you NEED an isolation transformer (or you will blow the fuses on your chasis).
