Wico Ball Joysticks too hard!

I have just gotten most all of my controls installed in my cabinet. I have 2 Super 8 ways and a Wico 4 way with the ball top. I don't like the Wico at all. You have to really move it to get it to hit the microswitch. And it is very hard to do unlike the Supers.

If you are using a Wico is yours the same way?
