(Correct me if I am wrong)
Most arcade monitors require mains voltage, and they also require an additional 110v from an isolation transformer. Did you get this transformer with your monitor?
I'm sure you will be able to pick one up cheaply.
If you are unsure of what sockets to connect your power wires too, then try to find the manual on the web - or contact the company that made it.
Some modern monitors work from mains alone.

: My Jpac came today (thanks to Shawn who I traded my Ipac to from this board)and I have come to realize when I was hooking things up that I am unclear on how the monitor actually gets power. The monitor is out of Jamma cabinet and I should have all the power hookups. My first assumption was that I would still be using the power to the Jamma cabinet and plugging that cord into a powerstrip that is located inside my new cabinet. Am I going about this the wrong way? Is there another way and possibly more easy way to go about this like giving the monitor power from another source so that I don't have to mess with this original power setup? As always, thanks to any who can help.

: Michael
