You could try using a Peer 2 Peer network solution. You can go to www.bigred.com and get more information on it. It's called Hotline... and comes with a Server & Client that you can use to move files back and forth on your network or the internet.

: Hey everyone. I have a situation where I have one computer running WinXP is connected to the net, and my MAME box running Win98SE is not. So when I want update my MAME box with new emus or roms, I have to transfer files across by zip disk, or ocassionally by CD. Finally I went out and got another NIC card so I could link the two computers and just share directories so I could transfer files across an ethernet cable. But I'm having a hell of a time getting the XP and 98 machine to see and talk to one another, and I understand that's a typical problem. So are any of you out there networking gurus? Do you have any suggestions on how to get these two machines visible to one another? I have them on the same Workgroup name and everything, so I'm not sure what else to try. Thanks in advance for any tips.
