The shift key is player one start... the shifted function of player 2 start is esc. Solution... don't hit both starts at the same time. Or you can re-program the ipac's function to something else.

: I've had the IPAC for over a year now.. great product. A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a little problem. All the buttons work fine. (they are programmed) However we were playing a game in MAME and what happened was we were playing a 2 player game and we both hit our start buttons (1 and 2 player start) at the same time (since we were both dead and wanted to resume) and it quit Mame. In other words, when both of those buttons are hit simultaneosly, it sends and ESC. We confirmed this outside of Mame too as we thought it was Mame doing it. Any suggestions on what could cause this? Start 1 and 2 are programmed to '1' and '2' respectively. Thanks!
