This would cause colour distortion. : 3: A PC VGA monitor does not work in 15Khz mode so the pass-thru is only of any use when the PC is running in normal mode, which (hopefully) is not often in an arcade cabinet! I have been meaning to contact the poster and get the OK to place the post on my site. : I have tried (maybe failed to some extent) to stress that the J-PAC only provides a connection method for an arcade monitor, not an instant plug-in solution for any PC. I want to try to avoid having to support the whole thing right through from MAME, vga card, to the monitor. : Andy : : : : I'm hoping to make my 19" arcade CRT (that was removed and replaced with an EYGO VGA from my standup) to run a cocktail (or bartop... havent decided).
