thanks..let me get this straight. so if i connect player 1 8-way joystick + buttons with the 4-way joystick + buttons both to the same slots on the ipac, then i will have a total of 20 buttons.. that will make way for 8 extra buttons correct?

is there a website off the top of your head that have done this and done the ground thing. if not i will research this type of setup myself.

thnx

: 28

: so for the 8ways
: 2*4 = 8
: 2*6 = 12
:
: 20

: and the 4 way
: 1*4 = 4
: 1*3 = 3

: 7

: hope you don't want to many coin buttons or any start buttons...

: you might consider do thing instead.

: have the 4way and player 1 8way connected to the same buttons. Then with a switch cut the ground to the 4way and buttons (or 8way and buttons) so that they aren't both active at once. (if you don't do this, then playing street fighter with friends, they will start grabbing the 4 way when you are about to do a special move).

: Anyway, then you will have enough buttons

: You could also go with a MK64
