I've never heard a bad word about them at all. Everyone loves them. There are 3 main keyboard encoders (hagstrom, ipac, mk48/64) and they are all great! Hagstrom is the most expensive. Ipac is the cheapest, MK64 best for 4player cabs.
Consider if you are converting a jamma cabinet because you might want to go with a jpac (whose interface is the same as a jamma cabinet).
If you want a spinner also. There are a few options. Hagstrom has an all in one. Ipac and Optipac combo (optipac is for the spinner). Or Ipac / USB mouse hack (or something similar)
anyway, any that you go with you will not be unhappy. They are all great!
: im putting toghter a mame cabinet with 2 cantrols, with 6 buttons for each one and oscar spenner. I like what the ipac has,and I dont konw much about the hagstrom interfaces.
