try one of the many Windows Frontends if you want to use Win2k.

Why would you put Win2k on an arcade cabinet PC?

: I had everything running perfect on my arcade cabinet, including original monitor, using Win 98. I then decided to put Win 2000 professional on the computer and ArcadeOS (only) hasn't worked since. It's driving me insane. I setup the mamepath address for the emulator again but it wouldn't work. I also tried reinstalling AOS from scratch but this didn't work either. Right now ArcadeOS won't even start up (open up)! I can however get Mame to work without the frontend, but this isn't a solution to the problem.

: If you have any suggestions, please let me know, as I need a gaming fix. If by chance AOS was not written for Win 2000, can you recommend another emulator that will run on an arcade monitor.

: Thanks,
: Alan.
