DC arcade stick + joypad hack, will it be possible.

Well, in fact, i need a technical advice here. As i have already a DC arcade stick, i plan to use the already existing base, and use a joypad (for pc)that i will hack. My question is: will it matter if i solder the different buttons of the stick on my joypad basis and keep the Dc basis alive ? In fact i plan to keep the DC part still in place, and somewhat "double" it with the pc pad basis.
Do you think that it will make any problem if each button is soldered to the DC PCB AND the pc pad PCB ?
I thought about putting the pc pad PCB in the DC joystick and have a female output on which i would plug the pc cable. Well, maybe i will try anyway, but i would like to get a piece of techincal advice about the "feasability" of that thing.
