: : It's a really scratchy feeling. It's not constant, but it gets rough quite a few times through the full rotation. It would still work when weighted, but I want it to be perfectly smooth. I think maybe I either ruined the bearings somehow when I was prying and hammering on the case, or the drive was just worn out anyway. I think maybe I'll buy a couple of old drives off ebay and try again with the proper torx bits. Do you know where to buy the small ones you used? #10 was the smallest they had at Lowe's.
