Well, for some reason, most people are probably going to reply that they like the Ultimates or the Supers. Nobody ever seems to mention my first choice, which is the Competitions. I worked in a campus games room all thru school, and spent quite a bit of time fixing the games. And WAY too much time playing SF and MK2. To me, the Competitions feel more precise than the Ultimates.
And, add to the fact that on the 1 Ultimate I got ( a 4 way), the switch actuator kept getting stuck on top of the switch nubbins. I put a washer between the E-clip and the actuator block, and that fixed it.
Long story short... add 1 vote for the Competition sticks.
: Aaargh, I know this is a FAQ, but last I saw it come up here, no real concensus was reached.
: I'd like to know what people think about the various Happ joysticks (and other brands, for that matter.) I'm mounting in 3/4" MDF with a 0.093" Lexan overlay. I think I'd prefer microswitches to leaves. Any suggestions?
