If everything about the cab was legal there wouldn't be any problems. We could have a cab(s) there that had playstation and dreamcast hooked up to it! ALSO, we could have something like "Capcom Arcade Classics" or whatever hooked to it. We could also have Mame set up to run a few arcade games that people own boards to or something like that. I wouldn't want to have one set up with 3,000 games on it, but we could show that it can do that but only a few games actually loaded, being games that people own the boards to.

What is the date?

: At the very least, we could put together a binder with images of peoples cabs for visitors to look at. The main point would be to get the idea of mame cabs into their heads. A real cab there would be a really good thing to get people to check out the booth, otherwise they might not. Another possibility would be for someone to bring just a PC and a Hotrod or something, at least people could play some games with real controls.

: Hey why not have a t-shirt design contest while we're at it? The group at the now departed (RIP) skinz.org site had one and some really sweet graphics came out of it.

: : I think it would be great. As a lot of people know, I've been working on organizing some sort of event like an arcade party or something of the sort. This would be sweet. A booth would be cool, but in order to represent byoac saint would either have to be there or approve of the idea of course. I'd be willing. I live in Ohio so it's really not that far.

: : Not sure about bringing the mamecab idea but just organizing the group in general would be awesome.

: : : THE QUICK BLURB…

: : : About PhillyClassic - PhillyClassic is a celebration of video gaming, from Asteroids to Xbox. The third annual show, PhillyClassic3, will feature competitive classic arcade and home game tournaments, tons of systems set up for free play, a classic gaming auction, hot deals at the buying/selling/trading tables, and lots of door prizes, including XBox give aways each day. April 26th & 27th, 2002 at The Valley Forge Convention Center. To save money by buying tickets online or to be an exhibitor, see the official website, www.phillyclassic.com

: : : $10 prepay and $15 at the door... Who wants to go? We could even set up a booth for $20 to represent BYOAC. We could make t-shirts. Maybe some of us could bring our cabs and we could let people try them out, maybe get them hooked on drugs... err, I mean emulation. =)
