Lets not start a which is better debate on the PSX and DC. Both have great games. DC games are a little more recent (and have better graphics more on par with a PS2...heh..ok maybe a little under a PS2). :-P

There is plenty of info on both to make both work in a cabinet. My cab supports PSX, PS2, and DC (xbox soon).

To answer your second question on the DC, you can buy a $9 VGA adapter for the DC to hook up to a computer monitor. PSX would have to be upscanned.
I display both just fine on a 15khz arcade monitor.

: So then I take it that it is better to put a DC in a cab than a PSX? I the DC superior? I suppose PSX games can be emulated...

: Can DC video be output to a PC monitor somehow?

: How do people deal with the analog controls?

: -EA

: : Since Dc's are going so cheap now, I thought I might pick one up and stick it in my cab....
: : I haven't followed the dc that close though so I was wondering what kind of arcade-like games were available. What does it have in terms of light gun games and sf/capcom games?

: : Thanks in advance,
