Anyone have any suggestions on how to connect a video game pcb directly to a pc vga monitor? I'm seeing inexpensive video-to-vga converters (or line doublers) that advertise tv, dreamcast, etc. inputs to vga outputs. I've even seen a more expensive model from Micomsoft that has a 21 pin rgb input. Anyone had success with these? I was hoping I could wire my rgb and negative composite sync wires into one of these cheaper boxes via svideo or composite inputs.

I want to add my Boomer Rang'r pcb board (unmamed game that I just had to have) to my Mame cabinet under construction (which will use a 21" vga monitor). I was thinking I might be able to supply the 5V and 12V to the pcb board from a standard pc power supply. Any thoughts there also?
