Not a stupid question!
The restrictors do not rotate for use on Q*Bert. If there is enough interest, I will look at making additional/optional sets of restrictors for games like Q*Bert (blocks 4-way), Galaga (blocks up/down), and Defender (blocks left/right).
These optional restrictor sets will fit the mounting plate and be interchangeable.
