Also has anyone noticed any issues with the shift function when running xp? I can't get shift function to work but Andy had the suspicion that it might be my shoddy wiring.
;)
Just thought I would ask before I rip my cp apart and start looking for loose wires.

: Just a guess, but did you try running ipacutil in compatibility mode, as win95 or 98/me? I'm not sure if it would work, but its quick and easy to try...

: : I get the "timed out" error every time I try to program the I-PAC with its own utility in Windows XP.
: : I can program it using Windows 98 on the same computer (I run both OS's).
: : I might have to do with the abscence of true DOS in XP.

: : Has anybody had this problem?
: : Is there a workaround?

: : Thanks.
