XP and W2K don't work owing to not allowing direct I/O port access.
As someone mentioned, make up a DOS boot disk with mouse driver and IPACUTIL in the autoexec.bat file and just start from there.
We are hoping to have an XP/2K version but not for a while.

Not tried compatibility mode actually, if anyone has any success with this let me know!

:
: Just a guess, but did you try running ipacutil in compatibility mode, as win95 or 98/me? I'm not sure if it would work, but its quick and easy to try...

: : I get the "timed out" error every time I try to program the I-PAC with its own utility in Windows XP.
: : I can program it using Windows 98 on the same computer (I run both OS's).
: : I might have to do with the abscence of true DOS in XP.

: : Has anybody had this problem?
: : Is there a workaround?

: : Thanks.
