AFAIK, MAME has dropped tweaked VGA modes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this means that -monitor arcade won't work anymore. I highly recommend you try out advancemame.
: I just figured out this has nothing to do with arcadeOS. I tried running a few games straight from dmame with the -monitor arcade option and I got the same result. I'm thinking maybe I need advancemame? I never had this problem before I upgraded to a new video card. It's an ATI XPERT 98 so it should work.
