AOS IS the BEST for DOS & rotate V & H games!
Work fine with MAME but the best is rotate REALLY the monitor for the V games(R)...more with ADVMAME because YOU can resize the V games , and play with any rotation!!!...BUT...
Yes..BUT..Now is a BIG SHIT!!!
I don't understand WHY now (b57) Advmame have a new set of commands , a new config.file (advmame.rc)..was relly good togeter with AOS , and now NOT MORE!!!

AOS NOT read any of the NEW commands od ADVMAME57
so...

1) you can't config any game
2) Only H games ...R he say " -ror !?!?! what is??"
3) the way is to insert a command : display_ror yes OK but not in AOS !!!
4) ADVANCE MENU is ORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Ofcourse if You take the DOS MAME b57 ..AOS work normal!!

My hopes...ADVANCEMAME get back the OLD systems command!!!! fuck advmame.rc!!!!
Or AOS take a new release compatible with the new command set...

: I'd quite like a front end that rotates for selecting vertical games. ArcadeOS was fine for DOS Mame, but I want to use the new builds of Mame for windows (0.57 currently installed) and ArcadeOS doesn't switch back to the front end properly after exiting from a game - no good for a keyboard-less cabinet.

: Most of the (pretty cool looking)front ends that are around or in development don't rotate in the way ArcadeOS can. I know this may be a problem with Windows, however MAME manages it so surely it can be done?

: I don't have the room (in the UK) for two cabs (and can't afford a divorce). I don't want to be forced into only playing in one orientation as I went through a lot of trouble to make the screen rotatable.

: Thanks
