I used this as a basis for some of my earlier designs:

Those two were just mock-ups to throw ideas around. It turns out they weren't exactly to scale due to the perspective of the photographs I used.

So right now my current plans add 10" to the width (making it a massive 4 feet wide) and add a seventh button for a Neo-Geo setup for players 1 and 2:

I am going to do some tweaking with that one to try to squeeze in a 4-way joystick and a couple fire buttons, but I don't want things to get too cramped. I also don't like the position of the spinner right now but it's a work in progress. Anyway I won't be doing that portion of the planning until I have my cabinet selected so I can figure out viewing angles for players 3 and 4.
