I added a similar routine that )p( suggested in this version of Rd but I only got around to implementing it for the up and down keys....
I do have an Ipac though and it works fine for me... however it's bad coding practice on my part and I have already altered the code for Rd beta 4, already in progress.

Thanks for the feedback....

Oh and btw all you fe authors out there... you better make sure this is implemented too, because I've seen the effects on another's machine and it's pretty damn annoying.
:)

: I have an i-pac in my cabinet with the player one joystick mapped to the arrow keys... When I run some front ends (in this case Raging Dragon) and I try to page through lists of games by pushing the joystick to the right -- It will only go one page at a time...

: In other words I have to push right, then let go, then push right, ect. to get it to keep paging... But if I use the keyboard and just press the right arrow key and hold it down... It pages through automatically.

: I'm assuming this has something to to with the type-amatic rate?? Is there a way to alter this setting on the i-pac?? Would I even want to (i.e. could it screw-up the control in mame)?? Suggestions??

: Strangly enough, when I just push the joystick up or down (to scroll through the list one game at a time) and hold it, it scrolls perfectly. Go figure.

: Bluepoint.
