I had a look at the AVI.
It's just a guess but it might be the Demagnetizing
Coil being left on. It's meant to be only on at
power up for a few seconds. The demagnetizing coil
is around the edge of the screen. With the power
OFF follow the 2 wires which lead from the coil and
plug in the the monitor PCB it is usually marked
D Coil. Unplug the coil and next time you power
the monitor up see what happens.
