You can turn off scandisk, but just powering down your cpu all "willy nilly" is usually a bad idea....
There are tons of little utilities that allow you to shut down win with key combinations or when you launch a certain exe.... Lots of Fe's support this feature too....


: I've had an about face from using DOS MAME to using MAME32 (video driver issue). It's not that I didn't like MAME32 I just didn't want the Windows overhead.

: Here is the question: I know how to boot directly into MAME32 but how do I shutdown the system after closing MAME32 application, eliminating Scandisk and the like from running if I just power off the system? Should I be using a different front end that has this feature installed?
