give it a try! slip the trackball over the posts on the trackball mounting plate, insert the screws through the trackball and see if they "screw" into the posts. I'm at work so can't check the screws I'm using but they weren't very long.

: I have purchased the 3" Trackball (part# 56-0100-xx) from Happ Controls together with the 3" mounting plate (part#55-1101-00). My problem is that I can't mount the trackball to the mounting plate. For me it seems that the 4 bolts that came with the mounting plate are to short. They are approx. 1.75" in length, but to me it seems like they ought to be something like 2.5" in length.
