I'd venture a guess that either your vertical sync isn't hooked up or the vertical signal from your computer isn't what the monitor is expecting.

The only suggestion I can give you is to recheck your connections or verify that the input specs of the monitor coincide with what your computer is outputting. If not, you may need a bit of custom circuitry to fix it.
