New project - Jon's Portable Arcade Machine
[Link]Added Jon's Portable Arcade Machine to the examples page. The author had this to say about their project:
Instead of creating a full sized cabinet, I wanted to create an arcade machine that could be taken from place to place with ease. I designed a box that allowed me to house the computer, with the lid acting as the control panel. I tried my hardest to make the finished project look like a marketable product.

New project - Gyokusho - DIY arcade control xbox 360
[Link]Added Gyokusho - DIY arcade control xbox 360 to the examples page. The author had this to say about their project:
Well, this is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. I've torn apart a wired 360 controller, put the guts in a pretty box and soldered some arcade buttons and a joystick to it. Thought I'd publish this to give you all an idea of how it can be done and just for general inspiration.
The name, Gyokusho is actually stolen from a japanese chess variant called Shogi. The equivalent of the king is called the Gyokusho or "Jade general". The short hand for that is the sign you can see in the middle of the controller (see image below).
Oh, and by the way, it's huge.

New project - Perfect Pink
[Link]Added Perfect Pink to the examples page. The author had this to say about their project:
My first attempt at building a Cabinet which has turned out really very well.
The idea from the start was to make the cabinet as clean and as sleek looking as possible. Its by no means a ground breaking design but it definatly is pretty funky. Themed in pink with matching sticks, Buttons and T-molding along with a killer internal paint job matched to the T-molding for a perfect finish.

New project - AlanS17's classic MAME cocktail
[Link]Added AlanS17's classic MAME cocktail to the examples page. The author had this to say about their project:
I never submitted this project a year ago when I completed it so...
This is a cocktail cabinet built using Arcade Depot's "real wood" arcade cabinet kit. I think it turned out really well. I'm very pleased with their product, and I would recommend it in a heartbeat.
I kept it simple in order to keep the classic feel of it. I did this in several ways. Though it has the horsepower to handle much more complicated games, I relegated it to the classics.
I also kept the control panels fairly simple. I used 4/8 way switching Ultimarc T-sticks and 2 buttons mirrored to the right and left of the joystick. I could have fit more buttons if I had gone without the mirrored layout, but I liked the simplicity and look of it.
