I just picked up one of these PCB's that was advertised on the arcade game newsgroups. I bought it because it was listed as a PC based arcade board the runs on a standard-res JAMMA setup. The company selling it is in the UK and they charged $215 total, shipped.
It arrived today. Whoa. It's friggen cool. It's a stock-standard socket-7 motherboard with a Pentium 200 MMX w/64 megs of RAM. Into the single AGP slot they have a custom built 3dfx video card/controller interface/audio amp with a JAMMA connector on it. Plugged on top of that is a ROM board with the program code and graphics ROMs.
The documentation comes with the MS-DOS End User License Agreement.
Hot diggity. You can bet your a$$ I'll be hacking on this baby to get MAME running! Whee!
I'll post an update on my progress. I haven't even plugged the board in yet. (I'm at work.)
