: Thanks alot! That really helped. I also emailed a guy at happ controls and he said I should drill a 1.5 inch hole. That's what he recommended. Does that sound like that is a good idea also? I know it will work because the black plastic ring is like 2.5 inches, so it will be okay. Does that sound like a good idea though? Thanks : -purbeast : : No problem. : : To install into the wood, Drill a 1 1/8" hole (Drill 1 1/4" if you're not too confiden't you'll get the joystick EXACTLY centered.) : : Then, Screw the base portion of the controller onto the bottom of the wood, with the hole in the center of the base of the controller aligned in the middle of the hole you drilled. : : Next, take the little plastic "O" ring (i forget what this is called) and slide it onto the handle, rough side up, and then slide on the WOOD spacer (the taller of the two white spacer pieces... they look like little tubes) then slide the whole thing into the base through the TOP of the wood. : : Next, push the 8 way actuator (the white square plastic piece) onto the shaft of the handle from the bottom of the assembly and HOLD IT TIGHTLY against the assembly, and slide the little black E clamp onto the slot on the bottom of the shaft..
