Upon looking up some videocards, namely the 3DFX Voodoo3 3000 16meg AGPw/tvout, I noticed that next to they're name was STB Systems
(3DFX/STB Systems)I never seen this before, but then again i never paid attention. Now I would assume that it means that the Voodoo uses the STB chipset. .correct?I already have this card and was going to try it in my cabinet project. Do you think I should be looking for another card? One last thing: I also have a Voodoo2 PCI 3d add-on that I no longer use.Now seeing that I might not be able to use the Voodoo3 3000, I was wondering if I could use the voodoo2 in addition to a 2D card that worked for the project(ATI,etc.)Now the Voodoo 2 uses a loop-back cable to connect to the 2D card, and the monitor plugs into the Voodoo2.Seeing that I would be using the 2D card for the project(voodoo2 is only 3D), could I still plug my homeade vga cable from arcade monitor to the voodoo2 card, or woulf I have to remove the loop-back cable and plug the vga cable into the 2Dcard when I want to use my monitor?Hope I explained everything correctly. Might be useful to newbies like myself, considering so many of us newbies have existing Voodoo or like cards that we still want to use or have installed into they're system. Thanks alot Saint:)
