Has anyone actualy made the megatap interface shown at Simon Nields Site?

If so how responsive is it? I wouldn't have thought that a PC paralell port could handle the input from 4 playstarion pads at once, but if anyone knows (or even thinks) different please say so.

reason I ask is that Namco are dumping their playstation arcade sticks for around US$15 here in NZ and I want to know if I should pick a few up.

I still hold some faint hope that chicks will dig my setup, 'though this is fading fast :-) "We thought you were a geek before matt, Now we KNOW" is a coment I have heard a few times recently
