I use a 19" iiyama vision master pro with no problems. Some vga monitors have color issues some not...
The best thing to do is rotate the monitor when it is still cold. It will degause itself when started and maybe the picture will be better.
Or you could manually degause the monitor, but I have no experience with that. Maybe someone else on the board can tell you how that is done.
