: : A PII 350 should be enough to play the huge majority of games emulated by MAME. If you can, you might want to tap up your RAM to something a bit more than 64MB. And of course, the quality of the video card that you're using will come into play. My MAME computer is a Pentium 200-MMX with 96 MB RAM and a 4MB Diamond video card. It's a bit slow on some of the bigger games like 720, Paperboy, Smash TV, Mortal Kombat, etc., but it plays all of the classic early/mid-1980s games very well. So I would say that a PII 350 will work just fine.
