Wiring up coin door with an I-PAC. Power question...

OK, I have a coin door with 2 lighted coin slots and a counter. The lights and coin slot switches have a common green wire. The lights and the counter have a common red wire (power). Coin 1 also has a light grey wire, coin 2 also has a dark grey wire, and the counter has a brown wire.

How do I wire this up to an I-PAC so that the counter works, but I don't blow up the I-PAC with power for the counter?

I can segment the lights out of the system, and hook up the coin slots easy enough, but it would be kind of neat to be able to keep track of coin inserts with the counter.

Any help would be great.
