Anyway, the reason I would like to remove the shell is:
There is a metallic frame inside of the shell and it looks like it would be much better to mount the monitor in that frame than in the plastic shell...
I would like to see all of the picture tube in front, it is now obscured by a plastic bezel...
I want a clear tube in front to be able to mount the cabinets original paper bezel...
So that's my point/s!
