: Am I the only one that thinks swappable CP's are the way to go? I can hot swap my CP's, it only takes about 1 minute, and they look/feel much better than an all-in-one.

When I bought Tom A.'s panel, the really tight one with the sponner and trackball, I was faced with the problem of putting it on a cabinet that once housed a panel nearly 29" wide. I eventually built a rectangular cradle 10" by 25" by 1 inch high. Painted it jet black, and his panel fits right in snug without bolts or any other hardware to hold it.

I then took the Star Wars yoke I bought from Xtremem MAME, (Still mounted on it's cockpit panel) and built a box for it to be able to fit it into the cradle when the current panel is removed.

I am now working on the light gun panel as well as a dedicated tron panel and eventually a Paperboy panel. They all will be 9 1/4" by 24" by 5" so that they can fit into the cradle.

I gotta get my scanner working, so I can get the pics up here.
