I didn't know about the HAPPs solution until I after I designed something a little homemade. In fact I am planning on doing it tonight when I get home. I bought an 8 foot piece of clear corner protector from Home Depot hardware store for less than $4 I believe. You see these on the outside corners of walls in offices, other commercial buildings and some homes. They had 2 sizes one that was 1/2" and one a lot larger. I got the half inch and cut it with a hack saw into 4 two foot pieces.
Tonight I plan to use 2 pieces on top and 2 on bottom to hold my Plexiglas marquee in place. The top will be easy as it is flat and I will mount the corner protectors like bookends holding the marquee in place. My speaker panel is at a 45 degree angle but I stopped it short enough so I could put a 1" by 2" strip of wood flat/horizontal to mount the marquee on.
The strip has a few holes for nails but I plan to drill several more holes for some small nails. Will report in the morning how it worked.
: Hello everyone,
: I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on the best way to mount the marquee? I have my speakers and light installed and purchased some plexiglass which I have attached my marquee to. How is the best way to mount the plexiglass to the cabinet?
: Any suggestions would be great!
: Thanks,
: Shane
