Although I have not yet personally done it, I am planning on using the marquee retainer from Happ Controls. It is specifically designed to mount on the top of the cabinet (and the angled speaker piece too, I assume) to hold the marquee in place.
I'm counting on top and speaker boards to hold it in place (to keep from slipping back) and the marquee retainer to keep it from falling out. I may wind up putting small strips of wood on the side (behind the marquee) as well for additional support.
I, too, am interested to hear other people's view on how best to mount the marquee.
: I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on the best way to mount the marquee? I have my speakers and light installed and purchased some plexiglass which I have attached my marquee to. How is the best way to mount the plexiglass to the cabinet?
