Clay Cowgill recently created a Multi-Jamma board
that allows on the fly switching between Jamma boards --

I believe he was also going to offer connectivity
to other non-Jamma boards via add in modules. I
wonder how hard it would be to add a PC connection
component... Might be worth an email to him.

From the web page:

Supports a variety of Switchboards. (Initially JAMMA is available, but
other standards such as Konami 36 pin, Sega 56 Pin, Capcom 56
Pin, Nintendo, etc. are planned to allow direct connection of other
board types without needing an additional JAMMA adapter on the
board.)
All game boards are powered for instantaneous switching and no
"bootup" time. A must for location/coin-op use!
Uses inexpensive and reliable "PC" type power supplies.

Let us know if you come up with anything?

: As always I'm scheming and planning a dozen ideas of what I want to do in the future with my gaming addiction... don't know if they'll ever happen but... :)

: Assuming I were to someday obtain a JAMMA cab, using Advance MAME, what resolutions could I expect to be able to use? Obviously it'd be much more limited than a VGA screen. What games would I NOT be able to play for example?

: Next, has anyone built or know where to buy a JAMMA video input switcher? My thought was if I ever had a JAMMA cab, to keep it's JAMMA functionality for real game boards, but use a switch to use the PC for emus.

: Lastly, has anyone ever tried running a TV signal to a JAMMA cab? Given limited space, it'd be cool if a cab could double as a TV. Especially if it had a nice big screen.

: Thanks in advance for any replies.
