I would recommend unless you have a specific need for the top-firebutton (flare-top type), that you steer clear of them. They are not very good in 8-way use. Happ does offer a 4-way version, and if that's what you're after, it would probably be alright. My favorite would be the Super joystick. However, I think it's wise to go ahead and get the optical stick. It seems to just be a converted Super joystick, but it gives you the added advantage of the rotary control, should you ever choose to hook it up, now or in the future. Also, I think it's very good in 8-way use.
