Heating the t-moulding with a blow dryer while mounting can help make it run smother around corners *NT*

: My suggestion would be remove the t-moulding and start again - using the same piece of course!

: I suppose it depends on HOW much too wide the slot is, but maybe you could fold a strip of paper and place it in the slot, then knock the moulding back in. You'd be surprised how much difference a thin piece of paper can make.

: Also, where the moulding goes around a corner, make sure you cut a small notch, or vee into the bit that goes into the slot - this will help it to sit flush. You'd also do well to round your corners slightly too, and when you reapply the t-moulding make sure you pull it taut, but don't stretch it, to help it sit flush.

: Good Luck!

: : I put T molding on one side of my cabinet, boy am I glad I took the time for this step. I really like the look and it feels good on my hands as I rest them on the edge to use the pinball buttons. Problem is in a few spots I cut the groove too wide so the modling doesn't stay in as well and I have a few in and out angles around my control panel and the moulding isn't mounting flush on the inside or outside corners. Was thinking about glueing and/or nailing the molding down in these spots. Thoughts anyone?
