Well, thanks to everyone's good advice I think I'm going to PASS on the idea of the dual monitor setup. I'd much rather get one of those larger monitors running anyways. Now I'm torn between cocktail sitdown in comfort style, or the traditional upright (there have been some nice looking uprights lately, it's almost making me want to make an upright...that cab with the Eva anime art all over it is absolutely gorgeous, nice job whoever that was...sorry I forget). I think I'm leaning toward upright now, still can't decide.

: I looked all over town for a Y-splitter for a PC monitor VGA cable, and couldn't find one. I hear that someone DOES make one, but I couldn't find one. One person suggested that you can't do it, because the signal is not strong enough to display to two monitors at once, or that the video RAM is not enough, yadda yadda, I dunno. He suggested I buy a POWER-HUB type deal...pshh...yeah, what does he think, we're all made of money? Anyways...since I couldn't find a Y-splitter I figured why not just make one myself...splice two cables off of one, by just hooking up the correct wires? anyone see any problems with this? I've wrestled with the MONITOR problem for a while now, in trying to get a monitor to use for my cocktail cabinet design. I've now got a VERY nice arcade monitor that DID work but doesn't want to now, and I've got a very nice 17" PC monitor that wont display RED. So...if I can't get one of those BIG monitors to work right, I thought about opting for a VS. Tennis machine style machine, and have two monitors back to back one for each side/person, instead of two people looking at ONE monitor, they could each look at their own...the monitors would display the same thing anyway. Also, this way they would be close to each player, and I could probably get away with using smaller monitors. I got hold of two 14" monitors today for pretty cheap, not gorgeous monitors but they'll work for now, just to see if I can get it all running. So...what do you think...can I manually split one VGA cable into two?
