On my last mame cabinet, I had an actual star wars yoke. I had pics of how they work but have since removed them off of my site due to no longer owning the cab. I can e-mail you the pics if you like. anyways, the yoke works off of two shafts one for x-axis, one for y-axis. Both of these shafts are spring centered and have gears attached which turn the pots which also have attached gears. One thing about the yoke though, The x-axis movement is herky-jerky. Jude and I both worked on fixing the problem to which I couldn't fix. Jude on the other hand may have found a solution but I haven't heard from him.I used the yoke more for driving games than anything else. star wars took some getting used to. well, good luck on the project and let me know on those pics
