: : : The Hotrod has seven buttons per player. Why? I can't think of any seven button games. If there are, are there enoughto warrant my adding two more buttons to my panel? (1 per player)

: : I don't know of any either. Considering the shape of the layout, it looks like you could play NeoGeo games using the bottom 4 buttons and still be able to play 6 buttons really good too.

: The seventh button was added to let you play Neo-Geo games properly (with all the buttons in a line). How do I know? Because someone on this board bugged Richard until he added it.

This is good for Mortal Kombat 3, Ultimate MK3, Mk4, and
Mk trilogy that require a "run" button. If you have
played these in the arcade you know that you must hit
the run button at the same time you are tapping the
other buttons, and having it activated with the thumb
flows well... I know Those Mk versions aren't emulated
but Pc versions do exist as well as some SNES emulated
versions. Did any of that make sense :-P
Meaning = Good for run button.
