It's funny you should ask that - as I just received my coin door from Happs today and it used 14v lights.
I have an old Coin Door from a PacMan machine that used 14v lights, and I am using 12v to power it. It is just slightly dimmer (as you would imagine) but otherwise it's been working fine.
